Settlement Reached In Johns Hopkins Case

After eight months of nego­ti­a­tions, lawyers for sex­ual abuse vic­tims, and John Hop­kins hos­pi­tal finally reached a set­tle­ment regard­ing the gyne­col­o­gist that secretly taped his female patients.
Dr. Nikita Levy was caught in Feb­ru­ary. The announce­ment came yes­ter­day, of a pre­lim­i­nary set­tle­ment of one hun­dred and 90 mil­lion dol­lars. Levy was fired and com­mit­ted sui­cide just days after one of his co-workers spot­ted him with the cam­era and alerted author­i­ties.
